Advantages of Minimalism
There was a period in my life a while back characterized by doubt, uncertainty and stagnation. From the middle of that dark cloud came a vision of minimalism. A still, quiet, peaceful place. That vision materialized in what seemed like an instant. At the precise moment in which it became apparent that the vision of minimalism had manifest, a new vision appeared.
A large house on a hill, children and dogs playing on grass, polished rugged vehicles outside a well equipped garage, a beautiful woman with a gorgeous smile leaning against a granite topped island inside a kitchen with a huge stainless steel vent over a stove fit for a chef. While the house may be spacious and light, the most noticeable characteristic is relaxed orderliness. Minimalism is not about embracing satisfaction with, having, or being less than what our heart's desire. Increasing the speed with which we achieve our visions relates directly to minimizing the number of thoughts and things that block our way. Clutter and stagnation extinguish vision. Eliminating clutter blocking the space in which we live and think uncaps our potential.
